Welcome, I'm Shandre
This is me with my husband, Jody and our son, Koa
Everything I do is for them.
So it broke my heart when I had outbursts of anger because I was stressed and overwhelmed by the day's classroom/school events. It seemed like I gave my best to the world only to have little left over for the ones I love the most. I've even ended up in hospital due to extreme exhaustion because of stress.
When I found yoga, I was low. My work felt like an never-ending avalanche of demands. Energetically, I felt heavy and stagnant. Was this my life? Coincidently I saw an advert for Yoga in the Park and decided to go.
And I'm not being dramatic when I say that that yoga class in the park changed my life.
Thus my yoga journey began. Meditation. Breathwork. The understanding of the power of the breath and how it can soothe the nervous system. Like an onion with many layers, my practice unfolded. I learned to notice my limits, set boundaries and delve deep into my relationship with food.
Cultivate a passion for healthy living.
I still have difficult moments
I'm human and no one is perfect. I lose my temper. I get frustrated. The difference now is that I have a toolkit full of strategies to help me. All natural. No chemicals.
When we know better. We do better.
My deepest heart's desire is to make a positive impact with the knowledge I have. I want to share all the amazing benefits of natural stress management. I want to share how it's changed my life and my outlook of what I want my life to be.
It's so easy to feel like you have no control. I've been there. I've felt anxious, irritable and overwhelmed by the long list of to-do's that an educator has to get through.
Luckily the four pillars provide what we need. Asana. Meditation. Pranayama. Diet.
I want to take the overwhelm and stress out of constant internet searches for a solution to your stress management needs.
I've created an easy-to-follow free guide to get you started. Connect with me to find out how to manage your stress the natural way.
